Mesin penetas telur adalah suatu alat yang digunakan untuk mengerami telur sehingga telur menetas menejadi bibit unggas. Kebutuhan akan konsumsi daging unggas yang semakin meningkat mengakibatkan harga unggas dan bibit unggas yang semakin melambung. Mesin penetas telur dapat membantu para

peternak unggas kecil untuk mendapatkan bibit unggas tanpa harus membeli dari peternak pembibit unggas. Pada penyelesaian tugas sarjana ini akan dibuat mesin penetas telur dengan kapasitas yang sesuai untuk peternak unggas kecil yaitu berjumlah 1200 butir. Pada tugas sarjana ini akan dilakukan pencarian faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan menetasnya telur unggas, kemudian dilakukan pembuatan rancangan gambar mesin penetas telur yang akan dibuat, dan pencatatan data-data yang diperlukan dari mesin penetas telur yang sudah ada di CV Missouri. Kemudian dilakukan analisis terhadap kekuatan rangka, penurunan tekanan, perhitungan panas yang hilang, dan juga perhitungan uap air yang hilang sehingga didapat spesifikasi pemanas, kipas, dan nozzle atomizer serta faktor keamanan dari rangka yang dirancang. Langkah terakhir dari penyelesaian tugas sarjana ini adalah pembuatan sistem kendali, trolley mesin penetas telur, dan

dinding isolator mesin penetas telur. Hasil yang didapat adalah dibutuhkannya pemanas listrik dengan daya sebesar 260 W, nozzle atomizer yang mampu mengeluarkan air dengan debit yang lebih besar dari 2,006 GPH, kipas yang mampu menghasilkan debit 0,87 m3/s pada tekanan drop 19,57 Pa.

Incubator machine is a device used for incubating eggs so eggs can hatch. The demand for the consumtion of chicken meat which is higher and higher has made the price of the chicken amd the young chicks increase. The incubator

machine surely can help the small capital farmers to have more young chicks easily so that they donÂ’t need to buy from the farmer parent stock. The final project for the bachelorÂ’s degree assignment is focused to the making of the incubator machine which is convenient for small farmer that can produce the capacity of 1200 eggs to hatch In this final project, the searching of any factors influencing the success of hatching eggs will be do, and then it will design incubator machine and recording data which is needed from the incubator machine which has been used by CV Missouri. And then do the analytic of the strength of the frame, the drop of the pressure, and the calculating of the heat loss, and the calculating the loss of the humidity so it can get specification of the heater, the fan, and the nozzle atomizer as well as the safety factor from the frame designed. The final step of this final project is making the control system, the trolley the incubator machine, and

insulation wall of the incubator machine. The result obtained is the need of the electric heater with the power 260 W, the nozzle atomizer which can eject the water with debit 2.006 GPH, the fan which can make the debit 0.87 m3/s at pressure drop 19.57 Pa
